Remembrance Memorial Gardens is a sacred place, interweaving nature, memory, and spirituality. Nestled within the splendor and tranquility of the Texas Hill Country, the Gardens offer unique interment opportunities for individuals and families.

Built in and around the slopes of Riverbend Canyon, the terraced landscape exists in harmony with the native beauty of the land. Meandering pathways, natural vegetation, and expansive canyon vistas create a peaceful setting designed for reflection.

Areas throughout the gardens and pavilion are thoughtfully placed within the landscape so families may select a place that resonates with their needs. Whatever your faith, background, or circumstance, you will find peace, understanding, and solitude here.

Ground interments, wall niches for urns, and memorial dedications are available throughout the gardens.

About Remembrance Gardens

Founded in 2001, Remembrance Gardens was created to be a place of peace, beauty, and lasting remembrance. Located on the grounds of Riverbend Church in Austin, the gardens were originally envisioned by Dr. Gerald Mann as a serene space where families could honor the lives of those they love in a meaningful and permanent way.

Designed to exist in harmony with the natural beauty of the land, Remembrance Gardens offers a setting unlike a traditional cemetery. Nestled into the hills above the canyon, the gardens feature winding pathways, native landscaping, water features, and sweeping views that create a quiet sense of reflection and comfort.

As the needs of families have evolved over the years, so have the gardens. What began as a unique vision has grown into a cherished place for cremation memorialization, serving families from Austin and beyond who are seeking a beautiful and lasting final resting place.

Although Remembrance Gardens is located on church grounds, it is a public cemetery open to everyone. We are honored to serve individuals and families of all faiths, beliefs, backgrounds, and traditions.

At its heart, Remembrance Gardens was created to offer something timeless: a place to remember, to visit, and to stay connected to those who matter most.
